The Saint Next Door

36"x 48” original painting of A Few Doors Down

In the French Quarter, you can wake up surrounded by familiar faces- and one very famous neighbor. Without a traditional garden bed, I imagined this balcony becoming its own little garden, layered with potted plants, hanging baskets, and overflowing flower boxes wherever they could fit. It feels like the perfect place for a slow morning coffee, surrounded by greenery with St. Louis Cathedral, the Saint next door, just beyond the railing.
