Commissioning a painting should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Once we decide on the perfect size and subject for your space, I’ll guide you through each step - making sure your piece feels personal, intentional, and deeply yours.

You don’t need to have all the answers yet, but here are a few things to consider:

- Are you drawn to any of my past works or themes-like coastal creatures, Louisiana architecture, native blooms, or peaceful landscapes?
- Do you have a color palette you’d like me to use or pull from? Photos of your home are super helpful!
- Is this piece celebrating a special memory, moment, or milestone?
Step One
Share Your Vision
We’ll talk about your space, ideas, size, and subject matter. You’re welcome to send inspiration photos and room dimensions-our team can help with sizing and layout suggestions.
Step Two
Reserve Your Spot
A 50% deposit secures your place on my commission calendar- if you purchase the retainer fee, this amount will be deducted off of the deposit.
Step Three
Color Palette & Planning
We’ll finalize the color direction based on your preferences or photos of your home. I can emulate past paintings or work with tones that complement your space.
Step Four
Sketch & Layout
Before I begin painting, I’ll send a rough sketch of the layout for your approval. This is the perfect time to request changes.
Step Five
Painting Update
As I near completion, I’ll send photos to confirm that the piece is what you had envisioned. We can adjust colors if needed.
Step Six
Final Payment & Pickup or Delivery
The remaining 50% (plus any shipping costs) is due once the painting is complete. We’ll coordinate safe pickup or delivery so your new artwork arrives ready to enjoy!
Pricing & Sizes
Here’s a general guide to pricing based on standard canvas sizes. My work speaks best as a statement piece, so 30” x 40” is the smallest commissioned original I offer.

30” x 40” - $4,700 - $5,600
36” x 48” - $5,500 - $6,600
48” x 60” - $7,700 - $9,100
72” x 72” - $12,500 - $16,000
Prices vary slightly depending on subject matter and level of detail. Sales tax and shipping are not included.

Each original painting is created with intention and heart, using palette knife texture and my signature layered technique to craft something that’s uniquely yours. Custom paintings are a true collaboration. Once your reservation is placed, I’ll reach out personally to begin the process. We’ll walk through a few thoughtful questions, such as:

A note about pricing:
Commissioned original paintings start at $4,700 for a 30” x 40” and typically range between $4,700 and $16,000, depending on size and detail.
This $1,000 registration fee is not the full price of a painting - instead, it holds your spot and is applied toward your 50% deposit once we finalize the perfect size for your space.
