Strolling Saint Charles

Strolling St. Charles was inspired by one of my favorite corners of New Orleans. Nestled within Audubon Park, this scene captures the quiet beauty that makes people fall in love with Uptown—the winding walking paths, towering oaks draped in Spanish moss, the gentle fountain, and the familiar sight of the St. Charles streetcar passing beneath the trees.

Soft greens, blues, and warm light create a peaceful atmosphere, while layered palette knife texture brings movement and life to the landscape. In the distance, glimpses of Tulane University and Holy Name of Jesus Church peek through the trees, grounding the piece in a place that feels both iconic and deeply familiar. Whether displayed in a living room, bedroom, or reading nook, Strolling St. Charles brings the calm, restorative feeling of an afternoon in the park into your home.

Paper Print - Printed on flat fine art paper using professional giclée printers. Includes a white border for easy framing and a printed signature on the bottom right. Sizes up to 16x20 ship flat; larger prints ship rolled in a tube.

Canvas Wrap - Printed on archival gloss canvas and stretched over a 1.5” wood frame with the image wrapped around the sides. Comes ready to hang with wire and a printed signature on the bottom right.

Artist Embellished Canvas - A canvas print enhanced by the artist with thick, textured acrylic brushstrokes for a one-of-a-kind finish. Hand-signed and available with optional personalization for an added fee.

Floating Canvas Frame - While canvas wraps don’t require a frame (since the artwork continues beautifully around the edges)  adding a wooden floating frame offers a refined, modern touch. The subtle gap between the canvas and frame creates a “floating” effect that elevates the piece. Each artwork arrives ready to hang with wire installed. Frame colors are artist-selected to best complement the artwork and may vary.

Shipping - Orders ship 1–5 business days after production. If you purchase different item types, they may arrive in separate shipments.

Gallery Pickup - Select local pickup at checkout to collect your order from our gallery at 3649 Magazine Street. You’ll be emailed when it’s ready and will have 1 month to pick it up before it’s returned to inventory.

Exchange Policy: We accept exchanges or returns for store credit only within 14 days of purchase (please bring your receipt with you!). Returns for store credit come in the form of a gift card that you can use anytime within one year’s time from the date of activation.
