See Ya Later, Alligator

See Ya Later, Alligator is a playful yet refined take on one of Louisiana's most recognizable residents. Painted with Casey Langteau's signature palette knife technique, the alligator is brought to life through rich texture and a soothing palette of soft sage greens, warm neutrals, creamy whites, and hints of blue. The clean composition allows the sculptural texture and graceful movement of the piece to take center stage.

One of Casey's most versatile best sellers, this Louisiana alligator painting has found its way into nurseries, family rooms, lake houses, coastal homes, offices, and gallery walls alike. Whether you're creating a Southern-inspired nursery or adding a subtle nod to bayou life in your home, See Ya Later, Alligator brings timeless character with an elevated, artistic feel.

Artist Statement: This subtle, bayou-inspired gator painting can be hung vertically or horizontally and pairs perfectly with the “Born on the Bayou” diptych. The lazily swimming gator is heavily-textured and glows with a neutral color scheme, which would be the perfect southern addition to any space!

Available as paper print, canvas print, and hand-embellished canvas print.

Paper Print - Printed on flat fine art paper using professional giclée printers. Includes a white border for easy framing and a printed signature on the bottom right. Sizes up to 16x20 ship flat; larger prints ship rolled in a tube.

Canvas Wrap - Printed on archival gloss canvas and stretched over a 1.5” wood frame with the image wrapped around the sides. Comes ready to hang with wire and a printed signature on the bottom right.

Artist Embellished Canvas - A canvas print enhanced by the artist with thick, textured acrylic brushstrokes for a one-of-a-kind finish. Hand-signed and available with optional personalization for an added fee.

Floating Canvas Frame - While canvas wraps don’t require a frame (since the artwork continues beautifully around the edges)  adding a wooden floating frame offers a refined, modern touch. The subtle gap between the canvas and frame creates a “floating” effect that elevates the piece. Each artwork arrives ready to hang with wire installed. Frame colors are artist-selected to best complement the artwork and may vary.
