It's Been a Long, Long Time Triptych

It's Been a Long, Long Time was created as a triptych to give the movement of the piece room to unfold. Spanning three panels, the composition follows a bird in flight across a Louisiana wetland landscape, allowing the sense of motion to become just as important as the subject itself.

The soft, impressionistic background was intentionally kept loose and atmospheric, creating contrast with the movement happening across the foreground. Layers of palette knife texture, subtle color shifts, and the expanded scale of the triptych draw the eye from one panel to the next, creating a piece that feels calm, expansive, and full of life. As a larger statement piece, It's Been a Long, Long Time works beautifully above a sofa, bed, dining room sideboard, or in any space where its scale and movement can be fully appreciated.

This listing is for 3 canvas panels, which form 1 large triptych.

Paper Print - Printed on flat fine art paper using professional giclée printers. Includes a white border for easy framing and a printed signature on the bottom right. Sizes up to 16x20 ship flat; larger prints ship rolled in a tube.

Canvas Wrap - Printed on archival gloss canvas and stretched over a 1.5” wood frame with the image wrapped around the sides. Comes ready to hang with wire and a printed signature on the bottom right.

Artist Embellished Canvas - A canvas print enhanced by the artist with thick, textured acrylic brushstrokes for a one-of-a-kind finish. Hand-signed and available with optional personalization for an added fee.

Floating Canvas Frame - While canvas wraps don’t require a frame (since the artwork continues beautifully around the edges)  adding a wooden floating frame offers a refined, modern touch. The subtle gap between the canvas and frame creates a “floating” effect that elevates the piece. Each artwork arrives ready to hang with wire installed. Frame colors are artist-selected to best complement the artwork and may vary.
