Carnival Queen

Carnival Queen was inspired by two symbols that feel deeply rooted in the South: the Mardi Gras crown and the magnolia bloom. The combination of the two to create a piece that feels both regal and feminine, allowing the flowers to emerge from the crown as a celebration of beauty, growth, and Louisiana tradition.

Soft whites, warm golds, and layered greens give the piece a timeless quality, while Casey's signature palette knife texture brings depth and movement throughout the composition. The neutral palette makes Carnival Queen easy to incorporate into a variety of spaces, from a primary bedroom or bathroom to a dressing area or reading nook. Whether displayed on its own or paired with Cajun King, the piece offers a refined nod to New Orleans culture that feels elegant year-round.

Paper Print - Printed on flat fine art paper using professional giclée printers. Includes a white border for easy framing and a printed signature on the bottom right. Sizes up to 16x20 ship flat; larger prints ship rolled in a tube.

Canvas Wrap - Printed on archival gloss canvas and stretched over a 1.5” wood frame with the image wrapped around the sides. Comes ready to hang with wire and a printed signature on the bottom right.

Artist Embellished Canvas - A canvas print enhanced by the artist with thick, textured acrylic brushstrokes for a one-of-a-kind finish. Hand-signed and available with optional personalization for an added fee.

Floating Canvas Frame - While canvas wraps don’t require a frame (since the artwork continues beautifully around the edges)  adding a wooden floating frame offers a refined, modern touch. The subtle gap between the canvas and frame creates a “floating” effect that elevates the piece. Each artwork arrives ready to hang with wire installed. Frame colors are artist-selected to best complement the artwork and may vary.

Shipping - Orders ship 1–5 business days after production. If you purchase different item types, they may arrive in separate shipments.

Gallery Pickup - Select local pickup at checkout to collect your order from our gallery at 3649 Magazine Street. You’ll be emailed when it’s ready and will have 1 month to pick it up before it’s returned to inventory.

Exchange Policy: We accept exchanges or returns for store credit only within 14 days of purchase (please bring your receipt with you!). Returns for store credit come in the form of a gift card that you can use anytime within one year’s time from the date of activation.
