As an LSU alum, creating Calling Baton Rouge felt deeply personal. This painting captures the parts of the city that shaped some of my favorite memories — Tiger Stadium glowing at the heart of campus, the LSU Lakes winding through the landscape, the rec fields, the iconic clock tower, and the State Capitol rising above the skyline.
I wanted the piece to feel both expansive and nostalgic, blending the energy of Baton Rouge with the softness and atmosphere that define my work. Sweeping light across the Mississippi River and subtle hints of purple and gold throughout the palette serve as quiet nods to the spirit of LSU and the pride woven into the city itself.

Print Style Options and Details
Paper Print - Printed on flat fine art paper using professional giclée printers. Includes a white border for easy framing and a printed signature on the bottom right. Sizes up to 16x20 ship flat; larger prints ship rolled in a tube.
Canvas Wrap - Printed on archival gloss canvas and stretched over a 1.5” wood frame with the image wrapped around the sides. Comes ready to hang with wire and a printed signature on the bottom right.
Artist Embellished Canvas - A canvas print enhanced by the artist with thick, textured acrylic brushstrokes for a one-of-a-kind finish. Hand-signed and available with optional personalization for an added fee.
Floating Canvas Frame - While canvas wraps don’t require a frame (since the artwork continues beautifully around the edges) adding a wooden floating frame offers a refined, modern touch. The subtle gap between the canvas and frame creates a “floating” effect that elevates the piece. Each artwork arrives ready to hang with wire installed. Frame colors are artist-selected to best complement the artwork and may vary.

Shipping/Gallery Pickup
Shipping - Orders ship 1–5 business days after production. If you purchase different item types, they may arrive in separate shipments.
Gallery Pickup - Select local pickup at checkout to collect your order from our gallery at 3649 Magazine Street. You’ll be emailed when it’s ready and will have 1 month to pick it up before it’s returned to inventory.
Policies
Exchange Policy: We accept exchanges or returns for store credit only within 14 days of purchase (please bring your receipt with you!). Returns for store credit come in the form of a gift card that you can use anytime within one year’s time from the date of activation.
