A Set of Southern Belles (2)

Southern Bells Diptych celebrates the timeless beauty of Louisiana magnolias through two coordinating canvases that create one elegant statement. Soft whites, airy blues, muted greens, and warm neutrals give this floral diptych a light, sophisticated feel, while Casey Langteau's signature palette knife texture adds movement and depth to every bloom.

Designed to bring a sense of peace and Southern charm into your home, this versatile diptych can be displayed horizontally above a sofa, bed, or dining table, or stacked vertically to suit your space. It is a graceful addition to both traditional and modern interiors.

Artist Statement: Through an abstract interpretation, characterized by textured layers and bold strokes, I seek to capture the essence of the iconic Louisiana’s state flower. Magnolias, revered for their resilience, purity, and connection to the cycles of life, serve as a poignant symbol within this piece. The choice of a diptych format allows for the canvas to be stacked vertically or hung horizontally, perfectly adaptable for any space. I hope you get lost in this daydream inspired painting, finding your own fond memories and symbolism within these southern, elegant blossoms.

This listing is for 2 canvases or reworked canvases - you receive 2 items when purchasing this piece (and 2 framed pieces if you choose that upgrade).

Paper Print - Printed on flat fine art paper using professional giclée printers. Includes a white border for easy framing and a printed signature on the bottom right. Sizes up to 16x20 ship flat; larger prints ship rolled in a tube.

Canvas Wrap - Printed on archival gloss canvas and stretched over a 1.5” wood frame with the image wrapped around the sides. Comes ready to hang with wire and a printed signature on the bottom right.

Artist Embellished Canvas - A canvas print enhanced by the artist with thick, textured acrylic brushstrokes for a one-of-a-kind finish. Hand-signed and available with optional personalization for an added fee.

Floating Canvas Frame - While canvas wraps don’t require a frame (since the artwork continues beautifully around the edges)  adding a wooden floating frame offers a refined, modern touch. The subtle gap between the canvas and frame creates a “floating” effect that elevates the piece. Each artwork arrives ready to hang with wire installed. Frame colors are artist-selected to best complement the artwork and may vary.
