In this painting honoring Mary, I draw inspiration from the tradition of Mary’s Garden, which is a practice of planting flowers associated with her life and virtues in front of a Mary statue. Inspired by my own Mary Garden and her profound significance in my life, I included a delicate arrangement of flowers typically found in a devotional garden:
Roses - Symbolizing Mary’s purity, love, and divine grace; Lilies - Her innocence and motherly love; Tulips - Rebirth and resurrection, reflecting her role in the Easter story; Olive Branches - Peace and reconciliation; Violets- symbolizing Mary’s humility; Forget-me-nots - Her enduring love and compassion for all humanity; Petunias - Maternal love and kindness; Strawberry Vines - Symbolizing the Fruit of Mary

Paper Print – Printed on a gorgeous flat fine art canvas with a giclee large scale professional printer and hand-cut in studio. Artwork comes rolled in a packing tube for protection. Artist’s signature is printed on the bottom right. (processing time- 1 week)
Canvas Print – Printed in the South on high-quality Archival Gloss Canvas. Stretched on a wood frame and ready to hang. Image wraps along a 1.5” edge, so framing is not necessary. Artist’s signature is printed on the bottom right. (processing time- 4 weeks)

The “I Love You More” Collection
In my “I Love You More” collection, I explore the intricate language of flowers, drawing inspiration from the timeless tradition of using blooms to express emotions. This series is not only a celebration of the beauty found in nature but also a reflection of the boundless depths of love. The title itself is a homage to the playful banter my husband and I share, where we compete lovingly over who holds the greater affection. Just as my husband constantly surprises me with flowers, this collection seeks to capture that enduring sentiment of going above and beyond to express love. Through each petal and stem, I aim to convey the notion that love knows no bounds and should always be abundant, just like the blossoms in a garden.
