artist statement for The I Love You More Collection
In my I Love You More collection, I explore the intricate language of flowers, drawing inspiration from the timeless tradition of using blooms to express emotions. This series is not only a celebration of the beauty found in nature but also a reflection of the boundless depths of love. The title itself is a homage to the playful banter my husband and I share, where we compete lovingly over who holds the greater affection. Just as my husband constantly surprises me with flowers, this collection seeks to capture that enduring sentiment of going above and beyond to express love. Through each petal and stem, I aim to convey the notion that love knows no bounds and should always be abundant, just like the blossoms in a garden.
