Magnolias, revered for their resilience and grace, symbolize the enduring spirit of the city and its people, while camellias evoke a sense of elegance and Southern hospitality. Azaleas mirror the colorful palette of New Orleans streets during springtime festivities. Iris, representing faith, hope, and wisdom, pays homage to the rich cultural heritage and artistic legacy of the city. Chinese magnolias add a touch of exotic allure, reflecting the diverse influences that have shaped New Orleans' identity over the centuries. The title itself is a homage to the playful banter my husband and I share, where we compete lovingly over who holds the greater affection. Just as my husband constantly surprises me with flowers, this collection seeks to capture that enduring sentiment of going above and beyond to express love. Through each petal and stem, I aim to convey the notion that love knows no bounds and should always be abundant, just like the blossoms in a garden.
