Places we love to eat:

1. La Boulangerie - The go-to lunch spot for all of our gallery staff! This charming French bakery is only a block away from the gallery and has the most decadent pastries and delicious sandwiches! Try the Le Dindon - you won’t regret it. Check them out here

2. Apolline - If you are looking for the perfect brunch, Apolline is it! Just across the street from the gallery, Apolline has a cozy feeling that’s perfect for mimosas and catching up with friends. Make a reservation here

3. Rum House - After a full day of shopping on Magazine, you’ll love the delicious Latin American & Caribbean-inspired bites at Rum House. The funky vibe is perfect for snacking and chatting! See their menu here

4. La Petite Grocery - Housed in a quaint corner building, La Petite Grocery is another gallery favorite. Their traditional Louisiana fare is top-notch and the crab beignets cannot be beaten! This is a great dinner spot if you have guests in town who are looking for Southern cuisine. We definitely recommend making a reservation - more info here

5. Saba - Saba is one of the restaurants that you’ll want to go back to over and over again. Their traditional Middle Eastern menu is made from locally sourced ingredients and the platters are perfect for sharing with friends or family! Find out more here

6. Home Malone - Our neighbors at Home Malone represent more than 150 Southern artists and craftsmen! Looking for a housewarming gift? A gorgeous new candle? A holiday door hanger? Stop by their Magazine Street location and see what they’ve got to offer! More info here

7. Stoney Clover Lane - Founded by sisters and Tulane grads, Kendall and Libby, Stoney Clover has all your accessory needs covered! Their signature travel pouches will keep you organized for work or fun! See their designs here

8. The Elizabeth Chronicles - The Elizabeth Chronicles is your one-stop shop for fun and affordable fashion! Whether you have a special event coming up or are just looking to feel chic this summer, The Elizabeth Chronicles has an impeccably curated selection! Find your new favorite dress here

9. Hazelnut - The place to go if you’re looking for that quintessential Southern home decor. Their eclectic selections will have your home bursting with New Orleans flair. Find everything from your new favorite vase to all your tabletop needs here


Fun finds:

10. Peaches Records - These guys have been around for over 40 years and they know their music! Vintage finds, new releases, and everything you need to enjoy your favorite tunes. They are located just a few blocks from the gallery so pop in to say hi next time you visit! More info here

11. Roman Candy Cart - This iconic cart features in one of Casey’s paintings! There is a permanent cart inside the Audobon Zoo but you can always reach out to them here to find the cart’s exact location!

12. Lionheart Prints - Pens, pencils, or stationary - all of your desk needs can be found at Lionheart prints! P.S. they also have the cutest Christmas ornaments around! Find them on Magazine Street or check out their website here

13. The Vintage - Coffee & Beignets are one of the greatest combinations and The Vintage has you covered on both! Stop in for your caffeine fix, a sweet treat, or that cocktail that you need to keep your afternoon going! Find their menu here

14. The Bulldog - It’s hot outside, y’all! Sometimes you need a shady patio to enjoy a cold drink and good company - enter The Bulldog, Uptown. They’re continually updating their taps to bring you the best of local beer and with a happy hour from 2pm-7pm, you can always find a reason to stop in. Check them out here

15. Sucré - The sweetest spot in town! We were so excited when Sucré reopened their doors and cannot recommend any place better to satisfy your sweet tooth. Their macarons, gelato, and seasonal treats are always a hit whether you’re out and about or planning a party all you need can be found here
