Artist statement:
This collection is a tribute to the vibrant community that has inspired and supported me since becoming a full-time artist, 5 years ago. While New Orleans has always fueled my creativity, it’s the people who have nurtured my artistic journey.
In this series, I revisit beloved subjects that have been cornerstones of my career, like the iconic St. Louis Cathedral and the map of New Orleans, while also introducing new scenes that capture the city’s timeless charm. Each painting reflects a unique facet of New Orleans, offering a glimpse into the city’s heart and soul.
These pieces hold special significance for me, as they mark the beginning of a new chapter for the gallery. This collection is not just a celebration of New Orleans, but a testament to the enduring spirit of a place that continues to inspire and enchant.
